Adobe Premiere Editing for Beginners

A practical day of understanding how to add video effects, titles and use of the other tools. 

This one-day course will enable beginners to become more confident in using video editing software.

Set Up Sound Course

 

Set Up Sound Course

 A one-day technical course designed for anyone wanting to create, enhance or edit audio content.

Learn about the differences recording environments and have a go at using a boom, mixer, windshields or radio microphones. Ideal for anyone looking at working in a sound studio.

WRITE START- INTRODUCTION TO WRITING

Write Start 2018 v2

 A one day course set in idyllic Cookham. Learn about the five elements of writing – plot, character, conflict, dialogue and setting. 

The course is led by an experienced writer (Mike Pearcy of Slough Writers) and includes a fantastic three course lunch.

Learn about the world of film and explore what it takes to get into the industry.

Opportunities include; practical filmmaking, work placements and experience on a film set.

Gain practical writing advice, learn how to pitch and find other filmmakers and crew to collaborate with. Develop ideas for broadcasters like Channel 4 and BBC.

DATE: Every Second Saturday of every month.

If so the BFI Film Academy is for you!

The Resource Productions BFI Film Academy course covers every area of the filmmaking process. It enables you to develop your commercial and cultural knowledge and equips you with the skills needed to make a career in film a reality.

The BFI Film Academies will run:

Shepperton Course: 22nd October – 26th October 2018 (every day)

Pinewood Studios Course: 5th January – 9th February 2019 (Saturdays only)
